  Food - meh.
  Waiting time - strangely long considering it wasn't busy and most of the food had been microwaved.
  Service - not unpleasant. That's as kind as I can be.

  There is a good menu and a good choice of beers, but a few times we've been told that there's a long wait for a table in the restaurant when it looks half empty

  Food was lovely. It was just the wait that was very long. We pre-booked as there was quite a big party of us, yet we still waited over 10 minutes to be seated. Food took ages to come out, as I'm sure there were only 2 people working that night. Definitely need more staff working.

  We popped in for a bite to eat a few days ago.
  When we walked in and asked if we could sit and eat, the staff initially just looked blankly at us then asked if we had booked, which we hadn't. So we were shown to the bar and told they would come and get us shortly when a tables ready. (It was empty. Literally one gentleman sat by himself from what we could see), they did come and get us quickly. Where they say us was in the corner, on the table uncomfortably close to the only other person in the place eating. My chair was half in a doorway, and not only that, there was an empty bottle of wine still on the table from the last person that used it.. we ordered starters and mains. We finished up our starters, and as soon as they cleared our plates, the mains were on the table. Just got the impression it had been sitting under the heat waiting... Wasn't great. And even with it being so quiet. Not once we're we asked if everything was okay with our meals. All in all, extremely disappointing in all aspects.
